Yesenia Espinal is a higher education data and analytics leader with over a decade of experience helping institutions leverage data to strengthen enrollment strategy, improve student success, and support informed decision-making. She most recently served as Associate Vice President for Data Analytics at Howard University, where she led the Office of Data Analytics and played a key role in the university’s Workday Student implementation. In this role, she oversaw reporting strategy, data validation, and enterprise analytics, ensuring data accuracy and alignment across institutional systems. As the Founder and Principal Consultant of Espinal Advisory & Analytics, LLC, Yesenia partners with colleges and universities to enhance their analytics capabilities, support ERP implementations, and develop data-driven strategies that advance institutional effectiveness. She is an active member of NACUBO and the Association for Institutional Research (AIR), and is deeply committed to using data to drive strategic decision-making and improve student outcomes.
